Rare Painted Regency Sewing Table

Description

Regency ladies sewing table circa 1820 with an original hand painted scene of a mother and her children on the top, beautifully painted by a talented artist and in good condition with some age related crazing. The sewing table its self is made from rosewood the interior fitted with velvet lined compartments and 4 ebony cotton reels, it has a fabric covered sliding basket underneath for storage with a carved pedestal and a tripod base. All in good antique condition
