Description

Outstanding French game table from the fabulous Victorian era in excellent condition. The top with stunning marquetry decoration and brass edge rotates and flips open to reveal a green baize lined playing surface. The table is predominantly rosewood with mahogany and laburnum inlays and raised on elegant cabriole legs with ormolu mounts and cast sabots. The frieze houses 2 side drawer with decorative lock and working key. Of solid construction with a gorgeous rich colour and fantastic graining when closed makes a wonderful side table and always ready for games night.
