Description

Circa 1860. With dummy draws to the rear, and faux draws to the front that drop open with a turn of just one of the knobs, to reveal a mahogany lined interior. On finely turned legs.

Remains of the famous Howard & Sons paper trade label (pasted to underside) with hand written No 8371. The table is also stamped (internally) HOWARD & SONS BERNERS St. The casters themselves of the best quality and stamped accordingly COPES/ PATENT STRONG.
