Leeds Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The top is constructed from solid, beautifully figured, mahogany and finished with thumb moulded lipped edge, and rounded corners. It extends by way of telescopic bearer stretchers, "Joseph Fitter, Patent" screw-winding mechanism, complete with original winding handle, and a single additional leaf. There is a plain frieze with lower lipped edge. All raised on ring-turned reeded legs on brass cup castors.

A petite and elegant table, ideal for small spaces, with the multi-functionality of extending to a bonafide 6 seater table. Rare to find one of these so small. In good condition, presents very well, serviced, cleaned and waxed, ready for use.

This table measures approximately 73.5 cm (29") tall, 157.5 cm (62") long extended, 107 cm (42.25") long unextended, and 104.25 cm (41") wide. The additional leaf measures 49 cm (19.25").

There are minor some marks and blemishes to the top. The legs have some scuffs and bruises. The hidden underside has some repairs, which are not visible or obvious. The castors are replacements. Works well. No loose joints. Well presented. Good colour, patina and polish. Serviced, cleaned and waxed, and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
