Superb Quality Antique Inlaid Writing Table / Desk by Jas Shoolbred & Co

This Superb Quality late 19th Century Antique Inlaid Writing Table / Desk is by the renowned makers Jas Shoolbred & Co and dates from the Victorian era ca. 1890. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above two fine inlaid drawers with decorative brass handles. This fine antique desk stands on four tapering legs with castors. The Mahogany Has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
