Table Large Refectory Farmhouse Dining Elveden Estate C1880

Here we have a wonderful estate made refectory table by repute from the stables of the famous Elveden Hall estate in Norfolk. As you can see the table has great colour and patina. The table was removed from Elveden in the 1960's and dates to c1880. It has lived in a Norfolk farmhouse barn since the 60's. The table has three thick heavy pitch Pine planks to the top with cleated ends. The top has super grain and despite the yellow look in the photos from our downlights has a very good washed colour. There is enough overhang on the top to be able to sit at both end. The base is of pegged mortice and tenon construction and has squared legs and an H stretcher. The table will seat 10 comfortably and is in ready to use retail condition. It is an everyday table which you will not have to worry about spillages etc as this will only add to its character. A super period table with great provenance ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 251 cm long 78 cm deep 78 cm high.
