Antique Victorian Burr Walnut Sewing Table

Description

A stunning Victorian sewing table in walnut that dates to around 1880

In completely original condition, in a medium brown deep rich waxed finish with a magnificent burr walnut configuration on its octagonal top which sits on a trumpet style body also in burr walnut, with turned and carved tripod legs on period brass casters

It has a satin and paper lined interior and comes with a working lock and key

When not in use as a sewing table, It would serve as a side light table or to display a sculpture or a work of art in a contemporary or period home

Measures 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 28 inches high
