Pietro Perugino (1446 – 1523).
Born 1446 in Citta Della Pieve province of Perugia Umbria Italy.
Born Pietro Vannucci. He was a famous Italian Renaissance painter of the Umbrian School who painted in oils famous for producing extensive frescoes. Firstly for the convent of the Ingessati Fathers and later went on to work on the Sistine Chapel, Rome and further work in Florence where he had a studio.
