French Bleached Oak Marble Topped Centre Table

Description

Highlighting a splendid piece of fossiliferous marble in a reddish brown colour with grey, rust and white flecks, this French centre table will make a great piece for any room. The unfixed marble has a shaped edge and stands on a bleached oak table base with decoratively carved cabriole legs. It will make an ideal surface for floral displays or heavy decorative pieces, but with its bleached wood it might also suit a country house kitchen, with the cool marble making a great baking worktop.

Dating to circa 1880, this is made of marble and oak, and originates from France.

In good age related condition. The marble has some minor nibbles to the corners, as would be expected from use over time.
