Large Country House Library Table Aesthetic Period

19th century
Description

This is a very handsome, substantial oak library table with classic aesthetic design dating from around 1870. The heavy, solid oak table has a fine central column surrounded by attractive ebonised supports with carved acanthus detail on cupped oak feet. The top surface has inlaid detail and there are four useful drawers to the frieze. Some historic marks to the top, as per its age and use.

The table measures 125 cms across and is 72 cms in height.
