Regency Mahogany Pembroke Table

Description

A superbly figured mahogany Regency Pembroke table.

Now 200years old, this table is in outstanding condition and retains all of its originality. Careful previous ownership has developed a patina that only age can achieve and this superb lustre highlights the magnificant quality of the timber from which it is made.

Unusually, again denoting that extra quality, this table has two opening drawers as opposed to the normal dummy drawer. The drawers retain their original brass handles.

The table is supported by a central turned column and four swept and reeded legs, terminating in its original brass lions paw castors.

The table will accomodate 4 people comfortably if used for dining, or 6 at a push.

Dimensions: 42"X21" closed.
