Description

A George I period, oak side table, dating from the first quarter of the C18th. Featuring a well figured, solid oak, plank top with moulded edge. Single drawer with pair of brass drop handles. Raised on baluster turned and block legs on turned bun feet. All supported by plain stretchers.

A handsome and charming period table, with very good colour, polish and patina. Cleaned and waxed, and ready for use.

This table measures approximately 71.25 cm (28") tall, 79.5 cm (31.25") wide, and 52 cm (20.5") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Good colour, patina, and polish. Some marks and blemishes. Replacement handles. A couple of small sympathetic repairs to edges of moulding. Chip to the inside edge of the right rear foot. A few, minor, historic, extinct worm holes to secondary timbers, which have all been fully treated, and do not affect sturdiness of the table in any way. Cleaned and waxed. Very well presented. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
