Regency Satinwood Inlaid Console Fold Over Card / Games Table C1810 (Georgian)

A Regency period, satinwood console / fold-over card / games table, Circa 1810. This high quality table features an attractively figured satinwood top with crossbanded border and inlaid stringing of boxwood and ebony. The top folds out to reveal an inset baize, supported by double rear gate legs. Plain frieze with strung panels, raised on fine square tapering legs with matching stringing, all on brass square cup and ceramic castors.

An attractive, high quality table, and mostly original table. Well presented, in very good condition. Cleaned and wax polished, and very much ready for use.

A hand inscribed note written on the underside, potentially ascertaining to the tables date and origin, though it is unclear.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 75.5 cm (29.75") tall, 92 cm (36.25") wide, 44.5 cm (17.5") deep unfolded, and 89 cm (35") folded out across the top.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. No loose joints, the rear legs are sound, the castors work well. Good colour, and polish. Some minor odd marks and blemishes. No obvious signs of damage or repair, though there is a small loss of veneer which formerly would have covered the left hinge area, on the side. Cleaned, waxed and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied.
