Description

A fine example of english furniture at its best, is this well made mid 18thc oak side table....it is crossbanded all around the top edge in burr elm and has an attractive shaped apron and nicely styled legs which terminate in an elegant pad foot. The brass handles are original and the table has a very good natural colour...... two small pieces of crossbanding are missing, but don't diminish the table as it is "country furniture" and a small section of toe on one foot is missing at the back....so no restoration, but could easily be done if required....
