Condition Report:
This is a good quality antique English provincial Georgian oak two drawer side table, also known as an “Estate table”, with two drawers, circa 1800, displaying a mellow period oak colour, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and cup marks to the top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The drawer is in good working order; it retains the original pine drawer linings and closes flush to the frame. The oak Estate table features the original top and backboard to the rear. The frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. As the Estate table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic mellow colour and patination. This country table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
