Description

A wonderful George Olive wood IV side or flower table attributed to Gillows, with exceptional proportions and quality. C.1830

The serpentine shaped top with brass gallery, raised on a turned and cluster columned base, terminating in foliate carved cabriole legs.

This design of table can be found in the S. Stuart, Gillows of Lancaster and London 1730-1840, volume II, page 97.
