Table Dining Queen Anne Cottage Gateleg C1700

Description

Here we have a beautiful Queen Anne Walnut dining table c1700. The table as you would expect is of pegged construction and has great colour and patina. There is lovely wear to the legs and stretchers but everything is solid. The gatelegs work perfectly and the table is a good height. There is a single drawer with Oak lining the drawers base i think is later. These tables always look fantastic in oak but are that much better in Walnut with its warm toffee colour. The table is an ideal cottage size and as you can see it will accomodate six but is more suitable for four. A lovely period table of great proportions. the chairs are on a seperate listing and are a set of eight. Dimensions are approx top 54 inches x 40 inches 29 inches high.
