Royal Crown Derby Miniature Watering Can, D. 1922.

Description

Royal Crown Derby miniature watering can, dated 1922. The traditionally shaped watering can, finely potted, and decorated in a rich Imari design, hand painted in red, green and gilt, on an underglaze blue ground.

Printed factory marks, and date code to both pieces. Pattern number ‘6299’ in iron red script.

Height – 7.7 cm, 3”.

Width – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
