Royal Crown Derby Milk Churn and Cover, Dated 1921.

Description

Royal Crown Derby miniature milk churn and cover, dated 1921. The conical churn, finely potted, with twin loop handles, and decorated in a rich Imari design, hand painted in red, green and gilt, on an underglaze blue ground.

The cover similarly decorated.

Printed factory marks, and date code to both pieces. Pattern number ‘6629’ in iron red script.

Height – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.

Diameter – 5 cm, 2”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
