Bizan figure of a reclining dog, signed Bizan Kyoto, Meiji period. This rare figure of a reclining dog is picked out on a very pale translucent Green glaze and thick Black. Well modeled with an alert expression. Signed Bizan Kyoto to the base. The figure is quite rare and in excellent undamaged condition. A good size at 23.5cm long by approx. 13cm wide and 12cm tall.
