A fine and decorative continental porcelain group of two spaniels on a cushion. The body of the piece is fine white porcelain that has been over painted in enamels. The painting to the piece is excellent with wonderful colours and some gilding to the braid and tassels on the cushion. The group is in excellent condition with some minor wear to the decoration. The piece is marked to the base but I have been unable to identify the factory. A rare and unusual piece with a great deal of charm. C.1890.
