Beautiful mid 19th century Japanese brush pot,c1870.The pot is bronze with lovely enamel /cloisonné decoration featuring cranes standing in a reed bed. The colours , red, green, gold etc are still lovely and vibrant. There are losses to the enamel but they in no way detract from the beauty of this piece.
