Manufactured by Ashworth Brothers, in North Staffordshire during the latter half of the 19th century.

This is in remarkable condition

The design is known as India, but quite clearly is an oriental scene!

The platter is of exceptional size, with veined body and fluids indent…

Exceptionally practical and useable!

Two base feet are balanced by the indent for “meat juices” to run away from the joint/ poultry..
