Description

This is a good pair of Chinese porcelain figures of reclining opium smokers dating from around 1900. The pair are in excellent condition with bold enamel colours and are rare to find on their original rosewood stands which are finely inlaid with silver detail. The pair are in hard paste porcelain with a lovely enamel glaze to the traditional garments that are hand painted in famille rose palate with Chinese motif and floral detail.

Perfect condition with no damage or restoration.

These measure 18 cms long 8 cms deep by 10 cms high overall when on the stands.
