Qing Dynasty Chinese Porcelain Goat

Description

This is an early 19th century Chinese pottery model of a goat with a superb antique blue glaze. The animal is excellently modelled with great style and character and the glaze is an excellent colour and super condition.

The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam hold a pair of these goats in their collection, Object Number AK-RBK-15971-A.

This is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration and dates from the Qing period circa 1830.

The goat measures 20 cms in length 14 cms high by 13 cms deep.
