A charming porcelain plaque depicting the Madonna della Sedia by Raphael, in original Florentine giltwood frame. The beautifully painted porcelain plaque is in excellent condition but unmarked, it will have been made in Germany or Austria. The original giltwood frame is wonderfully and elaborated carved with slightly worn gilding. The frame does have some areas of repair. The whole has a great period look and is ready to hang.
