Description

This good PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE titled FIGURES of SIR DEANS DUNDAS and SIR CHARLES NAPIER, both eminent Naval Figures in the CRIMEAN WAR, date from circa 1860.

The FIGURE of SIR DEANS DUNDAS stands approximately 15.25 inches (38.5 cm) high. He is standing on a gilt-lined base with raised gilt capitals, holding a hat in his right hand, his left resting on the top of a cannon, to his right a flag, wearing a tunic with epaulettes, trousers and sash.

The FIGURE OF SIR CHARLES NAPIER stands on a similar base, his right hand holding a cocked hat, his left arm by his side holding a cape, a sword on his belt, a cannon and balls to his right, wearing a tunic with epaulettes, trousers and sash. He stands approximately 15.75 inches (40 cm) high.

The condition of both Figures is good with no restoration just minor paint loss.
