Description

A Lovely hand painted Victorian mug dated 1860. The inscription on the mug reads « Ezekiel Baker, Green Croft, Bilston, Staffordshire - Forget Me Not 1850 ». The lovely flower sprays include roses and bluebells.

There is some wear to the gilding on the rim but the rest is in good condition. There are no cracks, and no restoration.

An Ezekiel Baker born in 1820, who is shown as residing in Bilston in the 1841 census & the 1861 census.
