Pair of Chinese porcelain cockerels, c. 1900, late Qing Dynasty. Modelled with the cockerels upon pierced grassy mound bases, with plumage, painted in vibrant famille rose enamels. Their combs in iron red enamels, and having pink bodies.

Impressed mark to the inside of one base.

Medium: Porcelain.

Height: 32 cm, 12 5/8”.

Condition: Some typical minor wear to the enamels. No restoration.
