Pretty Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Teapot

Description

This pretty and petit Japanese cloisonne teapot is in lovely condition and dates from the Meiji period, circa 1870. The teapot is very intricately enamelled in, rich cinnamon, green, blue and gold and it has a bronze layered chrysanthemum finial to the lid. The teapot is in very good order with no damage or restoration to the cloisonne enamelling.

The teapot measures 8 cms in diameter, (body) 12 cms wide overall including spout and handle, and 9 cms high.
