Fine Pair of Antique Chinese Blue Glaze Vases on Stands

Description

This is a stunning pair of Chinese porcelain jars or vases in a most striking cobalt blue glaze, dating from the late 19th century, circa 1890. The jars have attractively carved hardwood covers and stands and are in excellent condition throughout save for a couple of minor marks on the rim of one jar as photographed. There is a Kangxi mark to the base of each jar and they stand 13.5 cms tall, including bases and covers.
