Having a grooved handle.
‘Rural Lovers’ is taken from an engraving by Francis Vivares, published in 1760, after a painting by Thomas Gainsborough.
‘Milking Scene’ is taken from an engraving by Luke Sullivan, titled ‘A view of Woodburn in Surrey, the seat of Philip Southcote, Esquire’, 1759.
