Description

Bow porcelain figure, c. 1760. Modelled as a you g Turkish boy, wearing traditional costume. He stands upon a flower strewn mound, further supported by a pierced scroll base, with gilt, puce,and turquoise enamel.

Underglaze iron red Anchor and Dagger mark to the base.

Medium: Porcelain

Height: 15.3 cm, 6”.

Width: 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.

Depth: 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.

Condition: Repair to right hand.
