For sale this fine Japanese Arita Imari large bowl dating early 18th century. The deep bowl in underglaze blue, with red, yellow, turquoise, green enamels. A central medallion of a chrysanthemum within a double underglaze ring. The interior walls with large floral springs. The outer wall with a trailing band of leaves and flower heads above a band of green and red pointed leaves. The foot rim in an underglaze blue inter-locking design. The base marked in green enamel with daikon mark. Size 20.5cm diameter and 10.2cm tall. Undamaged with slight re-touching to enamels only. A fine example Price 575.00
