Description

Pair of late 19th century buff terracotta hand painted polychrome Blackamoor busts.

Well modelled North African couple in traditional colourful costume moulded on circular socle bases.

Impressed marks under the bases BB 3350, BB 3351, probably made by Bernard Bloch Austria

In very good bright sound condition, minimal wear to the all original paint, easily restored, insignificant chips to the back truncation of the woman.

Height of male 16,1/2" or 42.5 cm
