Description

A striking 19th century Chinese circular lidded, porcelain pumpkin jar with bold dragon image in red ironstone and hand painted calligraphy to the reverse. There is an historic chip to the rim of the lid and one small one on the inside base rim, otherwise this is in super condition. This is a good size, quite imposing measuring 22 cms in diameter and 20 cms high to the tip of the finial.
