Description

This well-detailed ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD BISCUIT WARE GAME PIE DISH and LINER bear the date letter for 1867 alongside the impressed Wedgwood Mark.

Made to look like a real pie crust, in the days when the cost of flour was too prohibitive for ordinary folk to make pastry, this example has well-defined decoration including a HARE as the cover handle. It retains its original liner.

The condition is good. There is a short, old hairline to the liner but no other cracks, chips or restoration.
