Striking Blue & White red ground lidded ginger jar, circa 1890

printed mark in pseudo six character Chinese style,

J Kent Ye Olde Foley Ware Fenton England

Transfer printed underglaze blue chinoiserie pattern with chintz bands, hand painted (clobbered) tomato red ground with gilt line work.

Small granular manufacturing deposits inside the base.

All in excellent condition with no damage or repair.

Height 6.5" or 165mm, weight 663 grams.
