A particularly large and fine Dutch Delft wall plaque. The design is typically rococo in tone with the plaque being cartouche shape with ribbon moulded edge. The the central landscape scene shows bucolic view with a lord and lady before the impressive gates to the home. The painting is particularly finely done, including a faux marble effect. The condition is excellent with just the odd minor glaze chip as would be expected on Delftware. A very decorative and impressive piece of tin glazed earthenware. C.1860.
