This striking PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE RED & WHITE DOGS date from circa 1860.

They are well-modelled, with one separate front leg, and well-defined with gilt chains, collars and padlocks. There is nice, impressed feathering to the dogs' legs.

This PAIR of STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS have been painted with a flourish.

The condition is good with no restoration.
