Description

This lovely ANTIQUE GERMAN PORCELAIN OWL OIL LAMP BASE, bearing the mark for ERNST BOHNE AND SOHNE, dates from circa 1880.

It retains its original screw thread in the top, in which to fix a font. Alternatively, it could be adapted for electricity.

The OWL is in good condition with just an old, thin glaze chip to his nose just above the beak. There is no restoration.
