Description

This very pretty, flower-encrusted 19th Century PORCELAIN FIGURE of a CHERUB seated on the back of a SWAN, dates from circa 1860.

The CHERUB is holding a SHELL which could hold small sweetmeats or flowers. The panier on its back could also be used for a small spray of flowers. The FIGURE looks charming holding the bunch of violets in the last picture.

As would be expected there are some small chips to the flower petals and to the cherub's left thumb. There are no cracks or restoration.
