Meissen porcelain figure, c. 1745. Modelled by Peter Reinicke, as the ‘Dutch Fisherman’, the man, stood holding a large fish in his right hand, whilst two further fish lay at his feet. Standing upon a squared mound base, with an unglazed foot.

Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to the reverse of the figure.

Height - 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.

Width - 8.5 cm, 3 1/4”.

Depth - 4.6 cm, 1 3/4”.

Condition - Fish in right hand re attached. Otherwise excellent condition.
