This charming PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, both bearing the number 6 on the base in relief, date from circa 1860.

They stand just 5.25 inches (13.5 cm) high.

There is an old, hairline and minor paint loss. The shrinkage line to the side was caused during the firing process. There is no restoration.
