For sale an amusing Japanese Imari study of a seated Rabbit, Meiji period. Modelled seated on its haunches, its head raised with one ear up the other down. Its front two feet off the ground. The body painted in underglaze blue, iron red, and green, with geometric designs over its back. The eyes picked out in yellow and black. The base unglazed Size 15.7cm tall by approx. 7cm wide and 9cm long. One ear with slight professional restoration. Most attractive.
