Description

This well-defined and brightly-coloured PAIR OF RED & WHITE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, Size Number 4, date from circa 1880.

They stand approximately 7.25 inches (18.5 cm) high.

The DOGS are in good condition. There is no restoration. There are some short shrinkage lines which have occured during the firing process, a tiny glaze nick to one ear and one DOG rocks slightly on an uneven base, again caused during the firing.

A charming PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS which would enhance any room setting.
