A fine example of a large Cheese bell or dome. The bell is by Dudson''s who made fine quality wares in the Victorian period, particularly this jasper type work, after Wedgwood. The dome is of a good clear bright blue base colour with pure white appliques of a typical neoclassical design. The dome is the largest type made and has huge decorative appeal. The cheese dome is marked with Dudson’s impressed mark and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or restoration and slight wear through use. This is the largest and most dramatic of this type of cheese dish.
