This is a Meissen hard paste porcelain bowl which would have been made in Germany in the early 20th century. It has moulded scrolling decoration in the Rococo manner. This scrolling detail is parcel gilded. To the centre is an exquisitely hand painted flower, overglazed in coloured enamels.
The underside bears an underglaze cobalt blue cross sword mark, with painted decorators marks and impressed marks.
It seems in good general condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
