Coalport Porcelain Coffee Can and Saucer. Imari Pattern, C. 1815.

Description

A fine Coalport porcelain coffee can and saucer, c. 1815. Beautifully painted in an ‘Imari’ style, with a vase of flowers on a terrace, within a roundel. The border painted with panels of birds in branches, on a cobalt blue ground, further decorated with stylised leaves and branches.

Height of coffee can - 6 cm, 2 3/8”.

Diameter of saucer - 13 cm, 5 1/8”.

Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
