Description

Chinese porcelain meat dish, c. 1770, Qianlong Period. The octagonal shaped dish, painted in underglaze blue, with a scene of bamboo and peony plants, growing around rocks, and a fence. Having a border painted with floral scroll amongst shaped panels of stylised flowerheads, whorl and cell diaper motif.

The reverse unglazed.

Length - 37.5 cm, 14 3/4”.

Height - 30 cm, 11 3/4”.

Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
